Holly Ryan

Holly Ryan grew up in a little Cornish fishing village where she spent most of her childhood exploring rock pools. She now lives by the sea in Devon, and when she’s not entertaining little people in her local pre-school, she spends her days doing what she loves the most … writing for children. Her debut picture book, Never Mess with a Pirate Princess, was shortlisted for the Portsmouth Children’s Book Prize, and to date she has virtually visited over 100 schools all over the country. She is never without a notepad and loves to write funny rhyming texts that make children laugh out loud.
